Flatirons Digital Innovations (FDI) is pleased to welcome Ron Friedman as Chief Operating Officer. A recognized leader in the high technology software industry, Friedman brings more than 30 years of sales, general management, and executive leadership expertise to FDI. Prior to joining FDI, Ron provided executive and senior management coaching, revenue acceleration, and business transformation services through his consulting practice Customized Selling Solutions International (CSSI).
Before establishing CSSI, Ron served as President and COO of Group 1 Software. During his 19-year tenure with Group 1, Friedman oversaw the firm’s initial public offering (NASDAQ – GSOF), negotiated and implemented key acquisitions, directed international expansion and grew annual revenues to over $150M. In 2003, Group 1 was sold to Pitney Bowes for in excess of $450M.
Ron also held a partnership position at Fineman & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in internal cost management programs as well as sales and marketing strategies, and he held senior management positions with two companies that provided computer services and turnkey computer solutions to wholesalers, manufacturers and public accounting firms.
“Throughout my career, I have enjoyed working with companies to expand their markets – both geographically and vertically – and achieve impressive revenue and operational results,” said Friedman. “I’m pleased to work with a distinguished team of colleagues at FDI to propel the business forward.”
“Ron’s successful track record as a senior executive and his leadership consulting with clients are outstanding skills that complement the FDI leadership team,” said Ernie Crawford, President and CEO of FDI. “I’m pleased to welcome Ron to the FDI team and look forward to advancing our mission.”
